European QA Manager

Church & Dwight UK Ltd are based in Folkestone, Kent, where we develop and produce & distribute many of our products; and work with Sofibel in Paris to form the European team. We are part of Church & Dwight Co. Inc. based in New Jersey, USA.

The opportunity

We are seeking a European QA Manager to join our Quality and Regulatory team, based in Folkestone, Kent on a permanent contract. The role will incorporate a range of exciting projects, including:

  • investigation and complaint management
  • change control
  • self-inspections
  • product recalls
  • auditing contract manufacturers and critical suppliers
  • CAPA management
  • validation
  • GMP training

Who we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience of working in Quality Assurance, gained within the Cosmetic, Medical Devices, Food Supplement or Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Broad experience of all key areas of Quality Assurance including integration and acquisition activities. 
  • Working knowledge of the ISO 22716 and ISO 13485 standards.
  • Experience of successfully leading and developing employees in a QA setting.
  • A degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Significant experience of working with outsourced suppliers.

You’ll also need to build effective project teams, have excellent influencing and interpersonal skills; and most of all have strong investigative and problem solving skills.
